For this Coogee project, Auswide Totalwest Fabricators made a stainless steel gate to enclose the boat’s previously open stern, with practical fittings tailored to the owner’s needs.

From an open stern to a more usable rear deck
The back of the boat was previously unenclosed. The owner needed a way to close off this space while keeping access to the dinghy. A custom stainless steel gate provided an enclosure that can be opened whenever that access is needed.
The fit-out also incorporated a bait board and BBQ. Both are easy for the owner to remove, allowing the rear deck to be arranged to suit fishing, cooking or simply making more space on board.
